Leland is a native Vermonter but spent the first five years of his adult life as a US Marine and was stationed all over the world including Japan, Guantanamo Bay, Iraq, and throughout Southeast Asia. He served as an operator in a small team and as an instructor in close-quarters battle. Subsequent to his
time in the military, he worked as a Private Investigator and for the US Government in a number of roles. He has been awarded degrees in Criminal Justice, Administrative Management, and Business Leadership.

With an entrepreneurial spirit, he has created numerous successful companies in Vermont including a laser cosmetic spa, an aerial videography company, and a real estate service. Most recently, he launched an international service named Hero Home Connect created to assist buyers and sellers throughout the home buying and selling process. This service has been used across the United States and as far as South Korea.

He spends his free time enjoying the benefits of Lake Champlain, traveling, diving, and playing alongside his wife and close friends in a local band.

Leland has an extreme desire to be a good communicator and the key to his success is learning, responding to client’s needs, and ensuring that everything goes smoothly right up to closing. Leland is a 5-star agent and was the Rookie of the Year (for all of New England) when he started his career in real estate. He has continually performed in the top 5% of agents in the United States and has been invited to be an international ambassador for the world’s largest real estate company.
